The boy is thirteen and unable to read.  He and his parents are refusing treatment that has a 95% chance of clearing up his disease.  I’m in favor of letting him die.  The human species is improved when parents who are too stupid to provide properly for their children have diminished reproductive success.  Too many defective individuals are surviving to reproductive age because The State is interfering in Natural Selection.  I also would prefer not to see an expansion of The State’s power to remove children from stable homes where the parents have unpopular beliefs or lifestyles.

Why their reasoning doesn't extend to mental fucking illness doesn't seem fair. It sucks to be a kid.
