Is it fair to presume that not a single person on High Street will now or ever see the SATC movie? (a/k/a "Three Whores and Their Mother")

I would watch it if it included surprise butsechs of Sarah Jessica Parker.
By the reanimated corpse of Andre the Giant.

Considering the number of TV episodes I've been forced to watch in the past, I don't think that's a fair assumption at all.

It would need lots of hardcore sex with money shots before I would consider it.

I dunno 'bout where you live, but in this market, they show it on up to three channels, every night of the week. I've had my fill of half-seen, half-expurgated episodes.

Having barely sat through one episode of the insipid show, it seems a fairly safe bet, Pale. I don't even like seeing the posters for the damned thing at the bus stops.

One of my crowning achievements was that the first time i ever saw SATC was during the final episode when my girl made me go to a party. I also never saw more than 5 minutes of Friends and the first time I ever saw Sienfeld was also for the broadcast of the last episode. In fact for 10 years I was so out of touch with Amerikan sensibilities that i failed to recognize the humor in Seinfeld.

I watch a lot more TV than that (or I used to, at least; thank you, writers' strike!) but I also failed to see what was so fucking great about Seinfeld and Friends.
I actually watched a whole Seinfeld once, but I could never bear more than ten straight minutes of Friends.
Scrubs was funny for three whole seasons. Try to catch some of the reruns some time.

My initial problem with Seinfeld during my first look was that I missed the satire on their antisocial narcissism. I thought that the character's responses were reasonable and typical of most humans so as to make such a chacter study boring.
I stopped watching TV in the 1980s for 10+ years. I finally acquiesced to watch it again when my girl had gotten a 9-5 and upon doing so insisted that she was exhausted and that gave her the right to have a TV in the bedroom. True love will surely make you do crazy thing you could never have before contemplated doing. I tried everything I could think to disuade her including reading aloud to her every night I was home. I did manage to win one concession. On seeing my first 5 minutes of Friends I swore that if she ever left that on again in my presence I would through the large quartz rock doorstop through the TV.

I hated Seinfeld. Absolutely hated it. We already had three Jewish Stooges. We didn't need a quartet.

Television fucks the dog every time out, with rare and never sustained exception. For what it's worth, the names I remember...
Outer Limits
Leave it to Beaver
Crazy Cat
Deputy Dog
Fractured Fairytales
Sanford & Son
The Rockford Files
Aubrey Manning
John Stewart
Becker
The Wire
South Park
Boston Legal

Well I hate to disappoint you all, but I thought Seinfeld was hilarious, and most of the people I know that didn't like it just didn't have a broad enough attention span to finish the show. Eat that, pot smokers!
